The World Health Organization is a fictional organization from the Wild Cards series of books.
History[]
Established on 7 April 1948, and headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the agency inherited the mandate and resources of its predecessor, the Health Organization, which had been an agency of the League of Nations.
The organization was responsible for the 1987 WHO Tour of wild carders around the world.
In the late 1980s the organization was headed by Dr. Pan Rudo, a top Card Shark, who used its power to help the Card Sharks cause. The Kenyan - Faneuil incident, as an example of this.
