Waldo Cosgrove is a fictional character from the Wild Cards series of books.
One of three brothers who own Jokertown’s pre-eminent mortuary, Waldo is the frontman who greets and commiserates with the bereaved. He’s better at being sorry than anybody else. He probably also runs the management and financial side of the business.
Appearance[]
A round, soft man in his 70’s (in 1988) Waldo is bald as an egg, with tiny moist hands. He dresses impeccably and smells faintly of perfume, he also looks like he’s been rolled in talcum.
