The Jokertown Boys formed as a Gothic rock band composed of wild carders. They grew up together in an orphanage, with no hope of adoption, and banded together to form a music act when it came time to leave the orphanage. They have an unofficial sixth member in the form of Swash, Roger's brother, who performs backing vocals and doubles as the band's official graphic artist.
