Relegated to the Discard Pile, the name given to the contestants who were voted off, he soon found himself joining in with the effort to save the ex-contestants' mansion when it was failing to structural damage after an earthquake. He was so impressed by Rustbelt's efforts during the incident that he was quick to join the southerner's journey to Egypt to stop the genocide happening there, making Rustbelt promise to participate in his wild card wrestling federation idea in return. King Cobalt hadn't been in Egypt long when a bullet ricocheted off of Rustbelt's chest and into his neck. It was only then that his friends learned that he was just a boy.
