Fantasy is a fictional character from the Wild Cards series of books.

In the early 1980s, Fantasy was the prima ballerina of the American Ballet Theater, principally due to her ace power to mesmerise people (especially men) with her dancing. She was also one of a small handful of aces, including Captain Trips and The Great and Powerful Turtle, accquired as test specimens by a contingent of Takisians visiting earth to assess the Enhancer experiment. Bored and not terribly concerned with their predicament, Fantasy indicated she would enjoy some sex to distract her from their confinement aboard the Takisian vessel. Her fellow captive Cosmic Traveler, one of the many alter egos of Captain Trips, gladly complied.

In addition to her career as a professional dancer, Fantasy was also a part-time mistress and full-time spy for Kien Phuc, head of the Shadow Fist Society. Moving among the highest levels of society, Fantasy used her seductive powers to gather intelligence for Kien. In exchange for her services Kien kept her well-supplied with cocaine and cash, though this was not sufficient to secure her complete loyalty.

During the Shadow Fists' greatest period of influence, Fantasy attempted to seduce St. John Latham, Kien's lawyer and criminal co-conspirator, perhaps to gain the "jumper" ability, but she unknowingly did the deed with Jerry Strauss who was disguised as Latham at the time.
