Radha "Elephant Girl" O'Reilly is a circus performer and a publicly known ace with the ability to transform into a flying Asian elephant.
History[]
Radha O'Reilley was born in Bengal, India, to an Irish-American father and Indian mother. Her parents were on the Queen Mary on September 16, 1946, when the ship became a death ship after it passed through spores of the wild card virus. Still a day out from New York City, the Queen Mary was guided to port by a skeleton crew of those who were unaffected by the outbreak. Radha's father was among these few, but her mother Chandra began to thick gray skin while her hands and feet slowly fused into elephantine pads.
Radha was born seven months later after her parents had returned to India, where Chandra was treated as a holy miracle due to having taken on some physical traits of the elephant god Ganesh. Radha gained a sister in 1951 and was otherwise raised as a divine princess. When Radha's wild card turned, and she gained the ability to transform into an elephant, she found herself both worshipped and sentenced to a life of virtual imprisonment by the followers of Ganesh and Chandi.
Radha escaped to Calcutta and then to the west, eventually making a new life for herself as an entertainer. She was called upon to be a delegate in the 1987 WHO Tour, and although she accepted the role she was apprehensive about the visit to India where she feared a possible altercation with religious fanatics. These fears were never realised and she later played a significant role in the subjugation of the Great Ape once the tour reached Sri Lanka.
Wild Card Traits[]
Radha has the ability to transform into a full-grown Asian elephant with the ability to fly. In this form she has her full intelligence, while taking on the physical traits of an elephant. Her flight capability is thought to be telekinetic in origin, although she also needs to flap her ears in order to fly.
The act of transformation has an interesting impact on Radha's immediate environment. She draws energy from the world around her to gain the mass of an elephant and when she reverts to her human forum she re-releases it again in a blinding flash.

In her human form Radha is slightly built, with a golden cast to her skin reflecting her Indian ancestry, and deep auburn hair and green eyes from her father.
In her elephant form she appears as a full sized female Asian elephant.
