Chickenhawk is a fictional character in the Wild Cards series of books. He is a hideous winged joker with a limited capacity for flight.
History[]
Wild Card Traits[]
Chickenhawk has wing membranes extending from wrist to ankle, supported by elongated fingers, and a long, barbed tail. These wings afford him an ability to glide on air currents. He needs to ride updrafts to remain aloft, a skill at which he has become rather adept. The wings also restrict his movement on the ground, where he can only hobble along at an ungainly, limping pace.
Appearance[]
Chickenhawk is a hideous and scrawny joker with wing membranes extending from wrist to ankle. His skin has a pale chicken skin appearance and is partially covered in feathers. He has wattles draping from his underdeveloped jaw. Unable to properly wear clothing, Chickenhawk drapes himself in tattered rags.
